- Introduction to the Futures Markets - Organisation and working of Futures Market and other European markets - Basic analytical instruments: TIRO concepts, duration, sensitivity, base and cost of carry - The interest rate futures as coverage instruments - German national bond - 3 months Euribor. Comparative analysis with FRA - Ibex-35, Euro Stoxx 50 and futures on shares
2. Financial options
- Basic concepts on options - Valuation of options - Options on shares and on futures - Options on coverage instrument and speculation - Strategy basics with options; simple and compound strategies - Variable and fixed income portfolio management with options
