As an essentially educational entity, the IEF is a source of financial knowledge resources, which is applied to carry out:

- Studies on specific financial issues, work roles, decisions and other reports prepared on request of private entities, administration, associations and corporate entities, markets , etc.

- Manuals of procedures, continuing education, best practices, etc; as a complement to training processes or within the framework of the start-up of departments or of specific functions.

- Financial consultancy, especially linked to reorganising areas, implementing new tasks and functions, which involve consultancy actions with or without the support of training activities .
